Structural Superintendent - FPSO Conversion

An international EPC Consultant is sourcing a Topside Structural Superintendent to join their new FPSO Conversion Project Team on site in Indonesia, liaising with subcontracts on daily basis and supervising all structural activities during Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Phase.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

- You have previous working experience on FPSO conversion projects in a similar role

- You have previous working experience in Indonesian shipyards
Fluency in English is required in order to liaise with international clients and 3rd parties involved in the project

URGENTLY REQUIRED – STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Job Location : Jakarta Pusat

Over the last 5 years, PT. ISB Engineering has been enhancing the capabilities of carrying out Conceptual and detail engineering for the Design and the Installation of Floating Systems such as FPSO, FSO, SPM, Mooring and Flexible Pipelines.

With an established engineering office at Jakarta, we seek qualified and individuals to come and join us.

Following discipline are required for projects in Indonesia and overseas.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Minimum 10 years in Offshore Structure Works
Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or Offshore Ocean Engineering for Structural Design Engineer
Able to operate Structure Engineering Software such as SACS, TEKLA etc
Having knowledge of related Standard&Codes requirement such as like API, AISC etc

Structural Engineer...

Immediate start for a Structural Engineer who has design and analysis experience in offshore structure. Initially for 11months there is a possibility it could be extended. Successful candidate will be familiar with latest code and standard and able to use STAAD-Pro, some construction yard experience would be advantageous. Duties to include the following:-


Preparation of discipline design briefs, data sheets, specifications, calculations, studies and reportsReview, checking and approval of design and fabrication drawings in conjunction with drawing officeInput into studies ( e.g. layout reviews, Hazops etc. )Production and checking of technical requisitions for purchase of bulk and major equipment using the materials advantage system. Technical tender reviews and clarifications with potential suppliers.Review and comment on independent Verification Body commentsReview and approval of engineering and fabrication subcontractors and vendors dataLiaison with construction and sub contract personnel regarding site activitiesAny other related duties as required.

You will need an Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in the offshore oil and gas industry with evidence of involvement in numerous offshore projects.

You will be an experienced user of relevant computerised software packages required for specific discipline needs, including relevant design codes required.
