Position Summary:
The Network Solution Engineer (SE) is a technical role that is a member of a highly technical sales team, which supports sales and maintain excellent relationship with customers. This role will primarily be providing pre-sales technical support for the adoption and implementation of Citrix products as well as architecting solutions that address customers’ business and technical needs. This includes presentations, product demonstrations and proof of concepts. Additionally, the role will require maintaining ongoing assistance to channel partners in areas such as technical advice, presentation, demonstrations, and imparting technical knowledge.
Primary Accountabilities:
Assisting Citrix sales team in developing and closing business within Enterprise customers and Internet companies, while promoting the expansion of Citrix Networking products within existing customers’ infrastructure by becoming a trusted advisor to customers. Develop, coordinate, and manage all technical pre-sales activity for targeted accounts including product demonstration, technical presentation development/delivery, solution development, integration and design for RFP/RFI and proposal writing. Develop and enable Citrix channel partners technical champions Support Citrix channel partner sales initiativesQualifications
Strong areas of expertise in TCP/IP, routing and switching, as well as L4-L7 switching, preferably with hands-on and/or implementation experience Knowledge and hands-on/implementation experience in Cisco routing deployment, including OSPF and BGP Knowledge in L4-L7 server load balancing as well as global server load balancing (GSLB) Knowledge in WAN optimization is desirable Consultative/solution selling experience Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal sales, marketing, technology, implementation and product development teams. Detailed knowledge of HTTP, email, FTP, DNS, Networking, and Internet application platform technology Cisco certification (e.g. CCNP, CCIP, CCIE) is desirable Knowledge of Web Application Firewall is preferred Knowledge of Reverse Proxy Technologies is preferred Qualifications and RequirementsRequirements
? Requires 4+ years, technical pre-sales experience, or technical business related experience
? BS (Master’s preferred) or relevant work experience.
? Fluency in speaking and writing English
