We are looking for a truly customer focused Support / Network Analyst to join our 2nd Line Support team.  You will integral in maintaining our 'best in breed' IS Service Desk function, from either our Newark or our Sheffield sites.  We are happy for the successful candidate to be based in either site, but you will be required to travel to the other site once or twice per week.

To be successful in this enjoyable and challenging role you will have proven experience in a 2nd line support role or you could be a talented 1st line Support Analyst, as long as you possess the relevant skills and approach.  Ideally you will have strong SQL skills, particularly with SQL 2005, MCSE certification, and IP telephony experience.

We will be looking for you to integrate into a large, dynamic team at an experienced technical level so your approach to your colleagues and customers is key.  In addition, there are projects and numerous opportunities for you to develop your skills and knowledge within our fast-paced company.

Marketing Analyst – Building Film Product (MA – BFP)
The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

Marketing Plan

Develop and implement of marketing plans for the division’s strategic and
business plans. Participates and provides input to the other planning
processes. Identifies and defines significant market/product opportunities
to meet sales and growth objectives. Performs thorough customer needs
assessment, competitor analysis and identification of
target markets.
Develop programs to support 3M Building Film business of Renewable Energy
Division brand development and other promotion programs to increase sales,
business growth and increasing market share of 3M Building Film business of
Renewable Energy Division Review programs for results and improvement.

New Product Development: Oversee efforts of cross-functional team regarding
future product definition, development and commercialization of new products
based on market and/or customer trends. Identify new product needs, tests
innovative concepts and ideas. Serve as liaison and promoter for assigned
product lines.

Competitive Analysis: Analyze and interpret changing market/industry
dynamics and trends to determine the effect on product lines. Develop
appropriate brand & promotion plan based on the information and expands
customer base by increasing knowledge of all facets of the marketplace, and
analyzing competitive information and marketing
intelligence.

P&L Management:

Prepare sales, unit and/or pricing forecasts for assigned market/product
area. Prepare Projection on new product sales/profits. Prepare and allocate
financial resources to programs/products within forecasted guidelines and
regulates expenditures.
Review financial results of previous months as inputs for development of
next steps or actions

Pricing: recommend pricing for assigned products to meet short and long term
business objectives. Determine impact of pricing decisions on profit and
loss statements.

Supply Chain: together with trade marketer and sales rep, provide
inputs for supply forecasts to the Inventory Planner and to assist in
managing inventory (current, non-working)

Other: participate in and leads cross-functional task forces and
teams if required. Assist with other special projects. Attend and
complete the required company trainings or compliance courses and
perform other duties as assigned.

The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages
of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each job.

Minimum Requirements:

Formal Education/Experience/Field of Knowledge: A Bachelor’s degree
plus 4-5 years of related job experience is normally required or
equivalent training through experience in marketing or business
administration. Master’s degree, preferably MBA level of education in
an appropriate discipline plus 2 years of related job experience is
desirable. Basic competency or exposure in Branding and Promotion are
desired.

Traits preferred: extrovert, takes initiative, creative, some analytical
skill

While there is personnel to manage, these posts do carry significant monthly reporting and strategic thinking responsibilities with the need to provide systems training to overseas user.
