They has a clear growth strategy and is committed to an expansion plans for Indonesia. An exciting opportunity now exists for an exceptionally high caliber Head of Credit, Indonesia.

Managing a team, you are responsibe for the management of credit risk across all counterparty types including corporate, financial institutions and non-bank FIs. You conduct independent due diligence on counterparties, including financial analysis, leading client meetings, and preparing rating and credit reports. Interface directly with front office staff across all business divisions in order to make credit decisions across wide spectrum of products. You will ensure Bank’s policies and procedures are adhered to and continually monitor new account approval criteria and processing flows. You will instill a balanced credit culture and institute guidelines to ensure business is conducted in a well-managed manner.

Degree qualified, you will have more than 10 years of banking & credit experience including direct experience in Indonesia. With strong leadership and management skills, you are commercial, analytical, dynamic and possess strong business knowledge in particular Indonesia.

The main aim of this role is to ensure aged debt is perused and collected within the agreed terms. Ensure that records are maintained and are completely and accurately recorded within the policy management system so that statements are sent out correctly, ensure audit trails are provided for all transactions, and that aged debt is kept to a minimum of 5% over 90 days and 10% for 60-90 days. Mindful always that FSA regulations are actively implemented and complied with.

You will be customer focused with good communication skills.

Business aware, with the drive and resilience to demonstrate committment in dealing with day to day tasks.

Innovative and willing to contribute new ideas.

Team spirited with a positive and encouraging attitude.

The candidate must have at least 7 gcse's at c grade and above or equivalent, and have experience in working in accounts, if this is within Insurance that would of course be a bonus but is not a necessity. Salary is C£20.000 with excellent benefits, including 21 days holidays rising to 25, Pension scheme, Life cover, discounted household insurance and child care vouchers.

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controllers to join one of our clients on a temporary basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of debt by telephone, letter and email. You will be chasing for cash collections working from the Accounts Receivable ledger.

Key duties:

Chasing for cash collections
Resolving payment invoicing queries
Updating the Team Leader on potential "bad debt" or problem customers
Liaising with Customer Services to redirect relevant queries/to provide support to them
Ad hoc tasks as and when requested
The ideal candidates will have solid experience as a Credit Controller, used to dealing with the challenges of chasing debt, with the ability to negotiate with customers rationally and calmly over the phone.
