Position Description

Execute overall Q&C mission, vision and OGSM for the EMs, Raw and Packaging Material Suppliers, and support to Local

Operating Company (LOC), through:

Qualifications

Position Summary:

The Associate, Asia will contribute to the Rainforest Alliance’s initiatives in sustainable agriculture and forestry in Asia by coordinating and conducting monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities throughout the region. Initially, the Associate will work mainly on two projects. The first project seeks to improve farming practices and increase farm- and landscape-level sustainability in tea-producing regions in China, India, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. The second project aims to increase productivity and build sustainable supply chains for high-quality coffee in Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia. The Associate will support these and other projects by working with Rainforest Alliance staff, consultants and stakeholders to build sound M&E systems that improve understanding of the local context and track the results of interventions over time. As part of the Rainforest Alliance’s Evaluation & Research team, the Associate will support the team to promote robust M&E methods, knowledge sharing, and learning throughout the organization, in coordination with other units.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage field-based project M&E plans in coordination with Evaluation & Research and Sustainable Agriculture staff and (as appropriate) partners’ technical field staff;

· Implement and take responsibility for quality control procedures to ensure the collection, management, analysis and reporting of high quality M&E data;

· Design and provide in-person and remote (internet-based) training to staff, corporate partners and field consultants on M&E and context assessment methods and tools;

· Conduct field-based studies and supervise assessment teams as necessary;

· Identify partner organizations, such as local universities or research institutions, to collaborate in M&E data collection and impact assessment;

· Support Rainforest Alliance project staff to implement the organization’s monitoring, data management, and reporting procedures and tools;

· Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to project staff, partners, funders, and other Rainforest Alliance programs in timely manner;

· Manage relationships with program field staff and stakeholders related to project M&E;

· Coordinate with and provide regular updates to Evaluation & Research and Sustainable Agriculture personnel as required;

· Contribute to developing and applying landscape assessment and planning tools to understand needs, gaps, and opportunities for achieving conservation and rural development outcomes in the context of agricultural supply chains and local community needs; and

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Extensive, demonstrable experience in international development, agriculture, social sciences, economics, ecology, natural resources management or related field;

· At least four years of progressively responsible work experience, including at least two years of experience conducting project or program M&E or impact assessment research in the field, preferably related to rural development, sustainable agriculture, or natural resource management;

· Experience supervising field teams or consultants in the collection of monitoring data on social, ecological and/or agronomic conditions;

· Experience applying field data collection methods and tools such as household surveys, farm monitoring, GPS mapping, and others;

· Fluency in English and at least one major Asian language (Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Sinhala);

· Knowledge of M&E principles, practices and methodologies;

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

· Experience conducting M&E in in foreign countries one or more of the focal countries (China, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam) a plus;

· Ability to multi-task, manage and motivate field staff and teams, and deliver high quality activities and results under strict deadlines;

· Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50% of the time;

Role Description

The Business Quality Head of One J&J in the country reports solid line to the One SEA Business Quality Senior Director, dotted line to the One J&J Commercial Head and is a member of the Country Leadership Team. The individual is responsible for building and leading its cross-sector Quality and Compliance organization in the country. The role requires partnership and building of alliances with the in-country Commercial and Supply Chain teams and external stakeholders to proactively determine risks and compliant solutions to the business growth opportunities in the country.

The position is accountable for executing and managing the daily activities of the Quality and Compliance function in the country, from local new product introduction, product importation, change management, deviations and CAPA reporting, labeling requirements, commercialization, product release, distribution, complaints management and adverse event reporting, Quality reviews, escalations, field action execution, if any, and management of all Health Authority inspections. The role needs to ensure compliance of the local company’s Quality Management system to standards as defined by One SEA and the Enterprise One Quality System. It should prepare and enable the local organization to maintain continued compliance, navigating through the changing local government regulatory requirements.

The Business Quality Head will also be responsible for planning and managing local budget of the Quality & Compliance organization, as per alignment with each Sector’s targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver: Directs QMS activities to ensure continual compliance of the Site Business Quality Management System in accordance with J&J Enterprise One Quality System, associated Sector standards, and local government regulatory requirements

2. Connect: As the Management Representative, engages Management and relevant Leadership Teams in Quality Reviews and Escalations based on appropriate analytics, tools and reports. 3. Shape:In collaboration with business functions/management, develop and implement strategies through integration of early risk evaluation, mitigation and development of compliant solutions to identified growth opportunities. Oversees overall development of local organization in terms of Quality and Compliance objectives.

4. Lead:Establishes robust processes in product labeling and product release. Ensures thorough investigation, comprehensive risk assessment and flawless execution of actions in relation to non-conformances, deviations, CAPA, change management and Field Actions. Oversees timely product quality complaints and adverse event reporting and resolutions.

5. Confers with Management in preparation, formulating and maintaining organization budget and resources.

Qualifications

Requires undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering disciplines; graduate degree/studies in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience are preferred. This strategic role requires a diverse business background, preferably with direct experience in multiple product categories, with specific quality and regulatory compliance competencies in the areas of: market quality, quality operations or quality systems. A minimum of 10 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Proven success in business engagement, strategy development, project management and execution, change management; understanding linkages in quality and regulatory compliance from product development through manufacturing and delivery to customer and health authority; driving alignment on strategy and approach across multiple differing health authority requirements; building consensus and impacting outcomes. Indonesia: Program Associate, Indonesia

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is driven by the vision of a world without malnutrition. GAIN is a Swiss based international organization that mobilizes public-private partnerships and provides financial and technical support to deliver nutritious foods to those people most at risk of malnutrition. The organization is delivering improved nutrition to an estimated 700 million people in more than 30 countries, half of whom are women and children.

Indonesia has a high burden of malnutrition in children and women, and improving the micronutrient status of the Indonesia population is a cornerstone of national socio-economic development in Indonesia. GAIN is now seeking a seasoned professional to assist its Universal Salt Iodization and Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition projects in Indonesia.

Program Associate

The Program Associate will be expected to advise GAIN’s Country Team on strategic issues that will contribute to the implementation of the Universal Salt Iodization and MIYCN (Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition) country level strategy. This will include working with all levels of government, civil society, private sector and academia to facilitate a supportive stakeholder and policy environment and contributing to or organizing technical gatherings to raise our profile.

Responsibilities

USI and MIYCN Project Management

· Assists the USI and MIYCN project team in the development of documentation relating to budgets, cost analyses, reports and forecasting.

· Checks and pre-approves contracts and related documents to ensure compliance with the standard contracting process and templates, and assists in the preparation of complex contracts.

· Ensure that disbursements to the implementing agency are in line with contract terms and are processed on a timely basis.

· Work with the Indonesian USI Associate Consultant, MIYCN Project Manager and Senior Technical Associate to coordinate the implementation of the M&E plan for the projects.

· Visits the field as required to ensure that project progress is on track and assist in designing and implement risk mitigation plans if required.

· Organizes meetings and workshops for GAIN programs, draft and disseminates meeting agendas, prepares briefing notes and where necessary takes meeting minutes. Assists in scheduling and planning for USI and MIYCN projects events and conference calls.

· Regularly obtain and review progress updates from the implementing agency and ensure that their activities are in alignment with program deliverables. Submit monthly project updates to the USI Associate Consultant and MIYCN Project Manager based on these reports.

· Prepares presentations, graphics and charts as requested and responsible for document archiving.

Demand Creation and Delivery

· Contribute to the process of development of a public service message together with research teams, GAIN and a communications agency.

· Responsible for coordinating between country team and the communication agency for implementing the communications strategy and associated reporting.

Policy and Advocacy / Stakeholder Management

· Collaborates with Country Team and the Policy & Advocacy global team to mobilize civil society, private sector and community networks particularly at Province and District level to align with the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) movement and the National Movement of 1000 days of life

· As required represents GAIN at project review meetings with the government and donor, technical groups and seminars / conferences and facilitating alignment with key stakeholders.

· Develop and maintain a good relationship with USI executing agency and act as focal point for GAIN interactions with them.

Experience

· Minimum of five years of experience in developing and managing project in a multi-cultural environment in the private sector, government or international organizations.

Clinical Research Associate - Stirling - Permanent - Salary dependant upon experience.

I am looking for an experienced CRA For a permanent role with a multinational medical device company based in Scotland.

The role will involve planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing studies as well as training key external stakeholders on the products.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical device or In Vitro medical device company with good working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements. This role requires somebody who thrives in a fast paced environment and has a flexible approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
