Organisational Goals

Australia’s Education Partnership with Indonesia (the Education Partnership) is currently the largest intervention funded by the Australian Government anywhere in the world. Through the Education Partnership Australia supports the Indonesian Government’s long-term strategy to strengthen and consolidate its national education system, with a particular focus on the current Indonesian five-year plan (2010 – 2014) and support for the initial stages of the subsequent five-year plan (2015 – 2019). The Education Partnership builds on the successes of previous Australian Government supports to the Indonesian education sector by strengthening government systems. Under the Education Partnership, there are three managing contractors and the largest, School Systems and Quality (SSQ) contract, is managed by Cardno. SSQ covers three components, each relating to a different aspect of the Education Partnership.

Each of the SSQ-supported components is national in scope, supporting existing government structures. Component 2 is centered on the professional development of school and district management, particularly school principals, supervisors and district education officials, and design and implementation of a school induction program for schools built under Component 1.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager, Education Quality is accountable for the day-to-day operations and performance of Component 2 of the SSQ. As this position is deemed “Working with Children”, the Component 2 Manager will provide relevant police checks to the Contractor. The Component 2 Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction, management and leadership for all programs and activities designed, managed and implemented through Component 2.Prepare the Annual Work Plan for Component 2, including the proposed budgets for the various sub-components and activities funded through the Contractor.Monitor and evaluate the implementation, effectiveness and outcomes of Component 2 activities and programs. d) Manage the implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation plan for SSQ as approved for Component 2.Ensure high quality, accurate and timely reporting as may be required against outcomes and objectives and progress against the work plan,.Assess, monitor, manage and report on opportunities, issues and risks that may impact on Component 2 activities and ProDEP.Establish and implement processes and systems to quality assure Component 2 and ProDEP activities and programs.Use monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance data to improve the quality of Component 2 activities. Including establishing and maintaining a knowledge management system that incorporates a record of on-going lessons learned that can be used to benchmark program progress.Establish and implement a sustainability plan for ProDEP in liaison with MoEC, MORA, Bappenas, local governments, DFAT and other key stakeholders.Provide technical assistance and strategic leadership to MoEC and MoRA, especially the Centre for the Development of Education Personnel (Pusbang Tendik) to support the design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance of programs implemented as part of the national system of professional development for education personnel (ProDEP).Through ProDEP, support the GoI to strengthen the management capacity of school and madrasah principals and supervisors, and targeted district and provincial government education officials who support the work of schools.Work with MoEC and MoRA to build system and individual capacity of ProDEP Eligible Entities to manage, implement, monitor and evaluate ProDEP programs.Coordinate and manage the delivery of initial school-based management training (the New School Induction Program) for schools constructed using Australian funds (Component 1) and support where possible the GoI in institutionalising improved induction processes for all new schools.Provide leadership and effectively manage the staff of Component 2, including national and international long and short-term advisers, by ensuring regular performance monitoring and assessment, encouraging professional capacity development and training, and by promoting an outcomes orientation and a culture of continuous improvement. Work closely with other senior members of the SSQ team (particularly the Operations Manager, Senior Education Quality Specialist, Islamic Education Specialist and the Managers of Components One and Three), ensure lessons learned are shared and opportunities for improvement utilised.Undertake appropriate and regular liaison with GoI counterparts and with DFAT and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the Component 2 program, to ensure engagement and commitment of stakeholders, and to facilitate sustainability of program activities

Key Selection Criteria
The Manager, Education Quality must have the following skills:

Post-graduate qualifications (or equivalent experience) in education.A strong understanding of, and at least fifteen years of experience in, education management and leadership. Experience is also required in implementing education and educational reform in school systems in developing countries, particularly in Indonesia.Demonstrable ability and experience in improving governance, organisational change and strengthening systems to support decentralised service delivery.Detailed understanding of and experience in implementing professional development and capacity development programs, particularly in an education context.Demonstrated record of managing, implementing and achieving the outcomes of complex development programs in a cross-cultural context.Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal English language communication skills, and an ability to affect positive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders at senior levels.Experience in senior management of donor funded programs, including management of technical and support staff, reporting progress and results, activity work plan design and implementation, program finances and budgeting, senior liaison and consultation, and other requirements. Experience on DFAT programs is highly desirable.Bahasa Indonesia is highly desirableHow to apply:

Role Description

One Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is a provider of consumer, pharmaceutical and medical devices and diagnostics products to the market. It ensures that its products and services are scientifically sound and of high quality to help heal, cure disease and improve the quality of life of patients and consumers.

The Business Quality Head of One J&J in the country reports solid line to the One SEA Business Quality Senior Director, dotted line to the One J&J Commercial Head and is a member of the Country Leadership Team. The individual is responsible for building and leading its cross-sector Quality and Compliance organization in the country. The role requires partnership and building of alliances with the in-country Commercial and Supply Chain teams and external stakeholders to proactively determine risks and compliant solutions to the business growth opportunities in the country.

The position is accountable for executing and managing the daily activities of the Quality and Compliance function in the country, from local new product introduction, product importation, change management, deviations and CAPA reporting, labeling requirements, commercialization, product release, distribution, complaints management and adverse event reporting, Quality reviews, escalations, field action execution, if any, and management of all Health Authority inspections. The role needs to ensure compliance of the local company’s Quality Management system to standards as defined by One SEA and the Enterprise One Quality System. It should prepare and enable the local organization to maintain continued compliance, navigating through the changing local government regulatory requirements.

The Business Quality Head will also be responsible for planning and managing local budget of the Quality & Compliance organization, as per alignment with each Sector’s targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver: Directs QMS activities to ensure continual compliance of the Site Business Quality Management System in accordance with J&J Enterprise One Quality System, associated Sector standards, and local government regulatory requirements

2. Connect: As the Management Representative, engages Management and relevant Leadership Teams in Quality Reviews and Escalations based on appropriate analytics, tools and reports. Identifies and sponsors initiatives for improvement of opportunity areas and proactively navigate legal changes that may significantly impact the business

3. Shape:In collaboration with business functions/management, develop and implement strategies through integration of early risk evaluation, mitigation and development of compliant solutions to identified growth opportunities. Oversees overall development of local organization in terms of Quality and Compliance objectives.

4. Lead:Establishes robust processes in product labeling and product release. Ensures thorough investigation, comprehensive risk assessment and flawless execution of actions in relation to non-conformances, deviations, CAPA, change management and Field Actions. Oversees timely product quality complaints and adverse event reporting and resolutions.

5. Confers with Management in preparation, formulating and maintaining organization budget and resources.

Qualifications

Requires undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering disciplines; graduate degree/studies in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience are preferred. This strategic role requires a diverse business background, preferably with direct experience in multiple product categories, with specific quality and regulatory compliance competencies in the areas of: market quality, quality operations or quality systems. A minimum of 10 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Proven success in business engagement, strategy development, project management and execution, change management; understanding linkages in quality and regulatory compliance from product development through manufacturing and delivery to customer and health authority; driving alignment on strategy and approach across multiple differing health authority requirements; building consensus and impacting outcomes. Previous experience interfacing with regulatory agencies, e.g., FDA, TGA, notified bodies, etc., and a history of success and credibility resolving complex quality and regulatory compliance issues with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

A large FMCG Company are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector (Nights) to join them for a 5 Month Contract until the end of the Year.
The successful applicant will be expected to complete a full quality assurance inspection of products arriving on site in order to ensure the best quality of product is supplied to their customers.

Accountabilities include:-

- Inspection of product to the customer specification at intake, packhouse, outloading and whilst on stock.
- Compilation of accurate quality reports for distribution within the company and to exporters.
- Accurate and concise decision-making.
- Communication of the quality specification and standards to packhouse colleagues.
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the chain at the Company.

Qualifications:-

- Experience in Quality Control within the Produce industry.
- Good level of Education.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable working on own and within the team.

Salary:-
£21000 Pro-rata to 5 Month Contract. (Contract will be reviewed towards the end of the Year.)

Hours of Work:-

4 Nights On 4 Nights off  7pm to 7am.

Familiarity with ISO accreditation and its requirementsDemonstrable experience of and knowledge of the oil and gas industryPrevious roles to include quality coordinator/manager or similarExperience in writing quality plans and procedures and implementation of thesePossess experience of equipment certification and ability to review/understand material and testing certificates and their traceabilityUnderstand pressure testing and have an awareness of NDT/Pre/Post heat treatment and inspection, visual, thread inspection and load testing etcIdeally will have knowledge of other industry standards such as API, Norsok, ATEX

Skills required are:-


Possession of an auditor qualification is highly desirableIdeally would hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar ( HND, Degree, BSc)Experience in QC inspection and use of measuring equipment would be an advantageComputer literate on Microsoft Office packagesHave excellent written, oral and presentation skillsReport writing skillsMulti tasking skills and ability to prioritiseEnsure tight deadlines are metIt is essential you have experience using Microsoft Project
