The purpose of this role is to ensure high quality in architecture and design specifications. This role will drive the architecture development and be instrumental in closing the gap between how the business is supported by processes and Telco and IT.

Drive or participate in customer engagements from lead generation to contract fulfillment, . Work closely with the customer to be able to propose improvements and identify new business opportunities.

This role will drive the development of the primarily OSS/BSS area within every realization project. This role will facilitate workshops, capture requirements and translate this into architecture models.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

We expect you to have:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar education and relevant work experience, at least 10 years.

Documented experience of development of IT/Telco management platforms and the architecture of these.

Working with functional and technical requirements on technical platforms and/or IT systems and processes.

Experience from an international working environment

Knowledge from industries e.g. IT, Telecom

Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks e.g. TOGAF, ITIL NGOSS

Leadership experience

Consultancy experience, at least 15 years.

Consultative approach and capability to work independently as well as a part of a team.

I am currently recruiting for a Datawarehouse Architect to work for my prestigious client based in the North West to help with a Greenfield project, building a large Datawarehouse.

A BI tool (SSRS/SSAS) will then be sat on top in order to create reports in line with the business users requirements.

The client has recently started to use SQL Server 2012, so this would be a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to this new technology.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- SQL Server 2008
- SSAS/SSRS
- ETL SSIS
- Proven background of Kimball methodology
- Datawarehouse analysis and design

Good interpersonal skills are also a must, as is playing an active role in discussions and team meetings. There will be a substantial part of the role involved with gathering requirements from the business, so the successful candidate must also be comfortable in this sort of role.

Initially the project is set to run for 6 months; however there are excellent extension possibilities. Interviews are due to happen mid June, so please register your interest ASAP if you feel you would be a good fit for the role.

Salary is $6-7,000 per month, depending on experience.
