We are seeking an experienced Head of Semantics / Text Mining to manage and develop the operational and strategic aspects of a growing division and deliver bespoke media analysis solutions for a leader and innovator in web semantics, natural language processing (NLP) and analytics. Skills required for the Head of Semantics / Text Mining: Experience and knowledge of semantic technologies or business intelligence and analyticsAbility and desire to lead small and effective teams that can identify and deliver cutting edge solutionsActed in a lead or managerial position within a technical environmentAnalytical and Consulting skills with superb communication skills
An academic or commercial background in Computational Linguistics, Text Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP) or related fields would be advantageous.
As the Head of Semantics / Text Mining you will hold a broad range of responsibilities and provide leadership and vision to the organisation. On an operational level you will manage a team and ensure that client projects are delivered to high standards. At a strategic level you will set the future outlook of the division, review technological and human requirements and play a key role in identifying new products, applications and opportunities.

Salary: £70-90k + bonus + profit share
Location: South West London (easily commutable from Central London)
