Indonesia: Safe School Initiative Programme Manager

Plan is a member of an international non-government organisation (INGO) consortium called the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) Partnership Group (APG), led by Oxfam GB, comprising of Save the Children, World Vision, Child Fund, Help Age, and Mercy Malaysia. This consortium has developed a work plan that aims to strengthen ASEAN in implementing AADMER. The implementation of the Safe School activities and the integration of disaster risk reduction (DRR) in Education have been identified as two sub-components of the AADMER Work Programmes for 2010-2015.

Plan has been nominated to lead the APG for ASEAN Safe School Initiative (ASSI), which has been endorsed and approved by ASEAN. The specific objectives of ASSI are to: 1) increase funding, tools, local expertise and guidance for the Safe Schools Initiatives in the ASEAN region; and 2) improve capacities at national level through inter-agency collaboration and the use of the Comprehensive School Safety Framework.

We are looking to recruit a senior Programme Manager to lead the development and implementation of ASSI, facilitate the recruitment of the Project Management Team (PMT) in coordination with other ASSI Member Organisations, manage all stakeholder relationships, assist in securing additional funding in close consultation and coordination with the ASEAN Secretariat, and deliver Plan’s and the consortium’s strategic and operational objectives of this initiative.

As we need to start implemention as soon as possible, we are looking for immediate or short-term availability.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of bi-lateral, multi-lateral and other institutional donors.Knowledge in DRR programmes and plans in ASEAN Member States, preferably on integrating DRR in the education sector.Knowledge and understanding of humanitarian and longer-term development approaches, including Plan’s Child Centred Community Development approach.Demonstrable understanding of programme and community development issues, with experience of or ability to work directly with NGOs in risk reduction.Understanding of humanitarian and development issues in South East Asia region.Knowledge of South East Asia working practices and culture is an advantage

Krisis ini membawa dampak yang luar biasa pada keseluruhan sistem perbankan di Indonesia. Namun, secara khusus, kondisi ini memengaruhi aliran dana tunai di BCA dan bahkan sempat mengancam kelanjutannya. Banyak nasabah menjadi panik lalu beramai-ramai menarik dana mereka. Akibatnya, bank terpaksa meminta bantuan dari pemerintah Indonesia. Badan Penyehatan Perbankan Nasional (BPPN) lalu mengambil alih BCA pada tahun 1998.

Berkat kebijaksanaan bisnis dan pengambilan keputusan yang arif, BCA berhasil pulih kembali dalam tahun yang sama. Di bulan Desember 1998, dana pihak ke tiga telah kembali ke tingkat sebelum krisis. Aset BCA mencapai Rp 67.93 triliun, padahal di bulan Desember 1997 hanya Rp 53.36 triliun. Kepercayaan masyarakat pada BCA telah sepenuhnya pulih, dan BCA diserahkan oleh BPPN ke Bank Indonesia pada tahun 2000.

Selanjutnya, BCA mengambil langkah besar dengan menjadi perusahaan publik. Penawaran Saham Perdana berlangsung pada tahun 2000, dengan menjual saham sebesar 22,55% yang berasal dari divestasi BPPN. Setelah Penawaran Saham Perdana itu, BPPN masih menguasai 70,30% dari seluruh saham BCA. Penawaran saham kedua dilaksanakan di bulan Juni dan Juli 2001, dengan BPPN mendivestasikan 10% lagi dari saham miliknya di BCA.

Dalam tahun 2002, BPPN melepas 51% dari sahamnya di BCA melalui tender penempatan privat yang strategis. Farindo Investment, Ltd., yang berbasis di Mauritius, memenangkan tender tersebut. Saat ini, BCA terus memperkokoh tradisi tata kelola perusahaan yang baik, kepatuhan penuh pada regulasi, pengelolaan risiko secara baik dan komitmen pada nasabahnya baik sebagai bank transaksional maupun sebagai lembaga intermediasi finansial.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Knowledge on domain standardization such as eTOM MAP & SID, TAM, The Open Group, OMG Practitioner, etc. and experience to dovetail the same into customer solutions Understands and maximize use of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Core Java balancing performance and flexibility needs of the solution. Drives high-density & linear scalable solutions Support the Project Managers by drilling down the solution into activities and providing effort estimates to make project budget.Extensive knowledge depth and breadth in the area of responsibility – Its drivers, issues, and strategic directions and plans Experience in a variety of complex architecture projects, able to lead and direct other architect roles. Are able to analyze complex business situations to see patterns, and to describe them in a structured way to be understood by business, IT and other architect roles Are visionary, open-minded, and a facilitator/driver of change Is a great communicator Enterprise Architecture certifications offered on the market is seen a plus, but is not mandatory for the role.Good knowledge in EA & Telco, IT Industry frameworks/reference model like TOGAF, ITIL, NGOSS/Framework Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

We expect you to have:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar education and relevant work experience, at least 10 years.

Documented experience of development of IT/Telco management platforms and the architecture of these.

Working with functional and technical requirements on technical platforms and/or IT systems and processes.

Experience from an international working environment

Knowledge from industries e.g. IT, Telecom

Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks e.g. TOGAF, ITIL NGOSS

Leadership experience

Consultancy experience, at least 15 years.

Consultative approach and capability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
