Associate Finance Manager

Key Accountabilities:

General Accounting

· Monitors and facilitates month-end and year-end close activities.

· Reviews and approve account analysis of all related balance sheet and income statement accounts.

· Work closely with business finance, team members, Accenture, and GFS to resolve any issues in a timely manner.

· Supports the analysis and interpretation of results, along with the preparation of financial and operating reports to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls.

· Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures.

· Implements such changes where applicable.

Audit and Compliance
- Ensure current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/procedures, including GAAP, Company WWP (worldwide procedures), SOX and others
- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities – ensure staff and information are available as required

Customer Service
- Deliver service excellence and maximize customer service and satisfaction
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders (external / internal customers, co-workers)
- Maintain professional attitude during service delivery and resolution of issues
- Ensure that service levels and targets are met as per Service Level Agreements
- Perform problem tracking and ensure that issues are escalated in a timely manner and properly documented, prioritized, tracked, and resolved

Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions so the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· University/Bachelor degree or equivalent

· At least 6 – 8 year related experiences

· Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable

· Fluently to read, write and speak English

· Recognizes basic concepts / terminology associated with financial statements and external reporting; planning, management and cost accounting; fixed assets; data control; audit; compliance and regulation

· Basic customer service skills of conveying positive messages to customers and listening and understanding customer requests

· Able to use business process software (e.g. SAP) and basic application programs (e.g. Word, Excel) to support own process duties

· Aware of the training requirements, competency model, performance management approach, and other HR systems and administration required in own role

· Able to write short reports/letters/memos that follow standard formats and requiring reviews and supervision
