It is anticipated a combination of Jakarta and field-based positions will become available from those who have the following:

COMPETENCIES:

· Fisheries Management

· Marine conservation and MPA Management

· sustainable financing and resource economics

· Community engagement

· Good governance and public sector engagement

· Project facilitation and implementation

· Financial management and adminstration

· Training, capacity building, outreach and community education

· Public Private Partnership

· Fisheries Policies and Regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

· Bachelor's degree in a related field, advance degree preferred

· Minimum of 7 years' experience in one of the fields listed above

· At least 5 years' experience in a management position on donor-funded programs

· Experience working with Government of Indonesia is preferred

· Experience on bilateral and multilateral donors

· Professional fluency in English and Indonesian Bahasa and excellent written and oral communication skills

Indonesia: Expression of Interest - Joint Selection Team (JST) pool member

Opportunity to contribute to the Indonesia-Australia Development Scholarships Program

• Opportunity to join the Joint Selection Team (JST) pool with potential to be nominated to undertake interviews for the selection of scholarship awardees
• Interviews for the selection of awardees will be conducted in Jakarta and regional Indonesia
• Availability required for the full month of January 2013 and 2014 for possible selection
• Discipline Group C, Level 3 under the AusAID Adviser Remuneration Framework

The Indonesia Australia Development Scholarships Program is part of the Australian Government Australia Awards initiative designed to promote knowledge, education links and enduring ties between Australia, the Asia Pacific region and the global community. The overarching goals of Australia's development awards are: to develop capacity and leadership skills so that individuals can contribute to development in their home country; and to build people-to-people links at the individual, institutional and country levels.

Coffey International Development is the managing contractor for Phase IIIB of the Indonesia- Australian Development Scholarships Program and is looking for potential academics to include in our pool of possible Joint Selection (JS) Team members.

The Joint Selection Team (JST) will be required to undertake one selection round per year whereby team members will participate in panel selection interviews of scholarship candidates to be recommended for award. The interviews will be conducted in Indonesia.

To be considered for inclusion in the JST pool, you will have a PhD from an Australian University and will demonstrate more than 5 years’ experience as an academic/researcher. Your work within the Australian University system will include experience in postgraduate supervision and the selection of candidates for postgraduate study and/or scholarships.

Your demonstrated knowledge of Australian and Indonesian tertiary education systems and Australian postgraduate courses within a particular academic field will allow you to fulfil the role of JS Team member.
