General Manager

The Company:
An automotive supplier company is seeking a General Manager

The Role:
• Ensure daily satisfaction of customers’ needs: quality, services
• Control the achievement of objectives assigned to the site
• Industrialize new products
• Represent Company locally
• Establish budgets, PMTs following directives received from Regional Operation Director or product line of the company
• Establish, implement actions plans and corrective actions aimed at achieving approved budget and PMT, in organisation
• Ensure that Local Process, Quality and Production Engineers develop manufacturing processes that will be used as standards
• Ensure those standards are continuously improved
• Ensure that industrialization of new products is done according to Company’s industrial standards
• Ensure flawless new products launches
• Make product modification timely implemented
• Propose and implement once approved ideas of design, process modifications leading to material and other product cost continuous reduction
• Ensure that the quality system is implemented and that any quality problem detected is analyzed and timely solved
• Ensure the effectiveness of the site logistic system for providing adequate level of service to customers
• Define & pilot activities aimed at continuously improving direct and indirect labor productivity, inventories level, TRS/TRP and maintenance costs, scrap level
• Interface with clusters, product groups & regional operations to increase productivity reservoir, benchmark and animate his networks
• Develop the 5 axes plan for the site, including safety & people involvement, VPS, constant innovation (in particular when competence center),
• Ensure respect of purchasing indicators for P0 (products in production) & P1 (products in development)
• Ensure correct staffing & competence
• Interface with local customer’s entities
• Represent company in front of local authorities
• Manage the labor relations of the site
• Manage or co-manage (Regional Operation staffs) the site functions
• Ensure administrative management of any headcount belonging to the legal entity
• Responsible for the site assets

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree of engineering or business administration
• Mastered for Company’s Standard Training (5 Axes, Kaizen and related Project Management)
• Experience in managers supervision for over 15HC org of at least 3 years
• Experience in mass production of at least 2 years
• Preferable for experience in engineering, by education or by previous experience
• Well understanding about company’s business and culture in this position.
• Minimum 5-10 years working experiences
• Need to experience for independently leading and working for whole site operations, from selling to productions
