Indonesia: Pilot Implementation Manager

Project Summary: Creative is pursuing a five-year inclusive workforce development activity in Indonesia to improve the access to quality workforce development programs, to increase private sector training opportunities, and to improve the capacity of decision-making at the regional-level in support of workforce development, for poor and vulnerable youth.


Position Summary: The PI Manager will be the main point of contact for program piloting activities and organizations, ensuring that these organizations meet their obligations under their respective grants and meet their specific objectives. The PI Manager ensures that program linkages across organizations and project stakeholders and other mechanisms are optimized.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in international development, education, monitoring and evaluation methodologies, or a related field;

  • Minimum 5 years of experience required in the management and implementation of international development projects;

  • Demonstrated experience in grants/cooperative agreement management, maintenance of financial and progress reporting required;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and train new subgrantees, set realistic priorities, and plan for the successful implementation of programs required.

  • Demonstrated Ability to work well with teams of grantees.

  • Experience working in Papua province a plus.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia required.
