Flowserve: QA Engineer/SHEA Coordinator (East Jakarta, Indonesia)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Participate in plant/process validations and qualifications.Lead advanced quality planning efforts including customer needs analysis, FMEA and development of product quality plansDevelopment, implementation and monitoring of quality systems and procedures.Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and implementation and monitoring of the supplier improvement process.Coordinate resolution of internal and external corrective actions. Provide quality support to functional processes needed from the point of order through delivery, including order entry, design, product development, purchasing, manufacturing, test, and ship.Provide guidance, coaching, training and assistance to operations and engineering personnel on quality issues.Monitor and perform auditing function to assure compliance to systems and procedures.Identify areas for improvement (internal, external, supplier) and develop quality improvement programs utilizing quality tools and statistical techniques.Develop quality inspection plans to ensure customer purchase orders and contract requirements are met.  Audit other documents (Bill of Materials, Routers, Work Instructions, etc) to ensure contractual compliance.Assist in the resolution of customer complaints and requests.Create necessary documentation for ISO 9001 Certification and all site specific applicable standards.Ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing and regulatory standards.To develop health, safety and environmental management systems to reduce the risk of injuries and environmental incidents.Provide advice, information and training to management and employees on safety and environmental related matters in line with legislation and policy direction.Ensure Legislative and Corporate compliance for all SHEA mattersTo make decisions on the implementation of safety and environmental related programs.To decide on the most appropriate course of actions to be taken to resolve safety and environmental hazards and issues.Responsible for the continuous improvement of health, safety and environment management systems and practices at Flowserve.The position has the ability to influence policy and direction in all areas of SHEA, related to the business.Deal with government authorities to ensure the Company’s interests are best served

REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO:

Interact with the functional areas including manufacturing, purchasing, production and field service/repair to evaluate failure trends, product quality problems, and quality issues.Interact with customers and suppliers on quality issues plus resolution of any problems within process and final product acceptance Provide input, guidance and coaching to others to insure continuous improvement.Provide quality support for in-process and final inspection to establish quality standards and customers requirementsCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of customer from internal and quality team members to outside final customers.Be able to perform and coach others in data analysis and perform root cause analysisBe able to plan, organize and deliver projects/work on schedule to meet performance objectives. Introduce where necessary, coordinate and facilitate the conduct of plant SHEA Committee meetingsWork closely with Safety and Health Representative through area SHEA teams, representative meeting & issue resolution.Implementation of specific activities and projects as stated on the quarterly work plan.Oversee the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing SHEA management system.Participate in the development, planning and introduction of SHEA programsDirect and manage and where appropriate delegate activities related to SHEA on each of the sitesProvide information and feedback to management and employees on SHEA related matters.Prompt and timely provision of information, advice, training and actions relating to the needs of customers.Conduct Risk Assessment for each facility for Plant, Materials and ProcessesCoach and lead as necessary accident and incident investigationEstablish and implement programs to minimise and reduce waste.Ensure compliance, at all times, of SHEA policies and procedures and legislation.Coordinate incident reporting service to injured employees as required, whilst recommending requirements within each facility.  Ensure Accident reported in Flowserve SystemFlowserve is the recognized world leader in supplying pumps, valves, seals, automation, and services to the power, oil, gas, chemical, and other industries.
