Premier Field Engineers are the technical depth of Microsoft located in the field. The team are experts in optimizing and supporting IT infrastructure, by delivering Risk Assessment Programs (RAP), Workshops, Dedicated Support Engineering, Deployment Support and Rapid Onsite Support. The focus is on a support lifecycle of proactive services to assess the health of a current implementation through to planning a prescription for health to stabilise, educate, prevent and optimise IT infrastructure.

THE ROLE OF PFE GROUP MANAGER:
The PFE Group Manager is accountable for an end-to-end services business in all 8 countries within SEA. The current team of 63 engineers and 4 managers is spread throughout this mix of both mature economics (Singapore and Malaysia) and more developing economies (Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam and Sri Lanka). Strong regional experience and the ability to work closely with the key stakeholders in Services and EPG are critical to success in this role.

As a second line leader, you will hire, develop and retain a large team of industry leading field service engineers. This customer-focused environment will allow greater Microsoft platform adoption. You will be accountable for the management, leadership, operations and delivery across a field services delivery business including hiring, staffing, training, service offerings, negotiations, development of the service delivery organization, performance management, talent management and financial results.

Summary
Microsoft is recruiting a senior professional to lead the Legal and Corporate Affairs (LCA) team in Southeast Asia (SEA). The position will report to the Associate General Counsel for Asia Pacific and Japan and will manage a team of 10 lawyers and professionals located in several countries.

Specific responsibilities of the position include:
? To identify and advise on changes, opportunities and trends in law and policy relevant to Microsoft’s business, establishing the legal foundation for the next generation of technology in SEA;
? To ensure Microsoft is in compliance with all laws and regulations, in coordination with HR, Finance and the business leadership;
? To represent Microsoft in external forums on legal, regulatory, investigative and similar issues;
? To serve as a primary interface between Microsoft and senior levels of SEA governments on policy and legal matters;
? To provide business teams with legal support for commercial transactions;
? To manage any litigation, government investigations and overall IP enforcement activities; and
? To oversee and direct the LCA team in SEA.

The successful candidate will have a law degree. He/she will have at least 10 years of relevant experience combining law, public policy, and government affairs experience. Experience dealing with diverse cultures, particularly in emerging markets, is a plus. Experience developing and managing a diverse group of professionals is important. Fluency (written and spoken) in English is required.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

? The LCA Director acts as a general advisor to the Microsoft SEA business leadership on legal and corporate affairs issues, in many instances addressing novel legal, regulatory and policy questions as technologies evolve.

? The Director plays an active role in ensuring compliance of SEA personnel with all relevant laws and regulations as well as with Microsoft policies.

? The Director serves as first point of contact on legal matters for Area business executives and for subsidiary managers. The Director also oversees the SEA legal team and coordinates with Microsoft subject-matter specialists and outside experts to ensure coverage of legal matters, including matters relating to commercial transactions, litigation and disputes, and activities aimed at reducing the level of software piracy across SEA.

? The Director fosters relationships with government officials as well as with industry, academia, civil society and other third party organizations in connection with Microsoft’s public policy objectives.

Specific corporate affairs responsibilities include the following:
* Plan and implement strategies on public policy issues to promote Microsoft’s business.

Responsibility
- Plan, develop, support and in some cases execute Product Marketing activities, including P&L Management, BTL & ATL activities, initiated and organized by RSM in the territory.
- Work with subsidiary teams to develop and execute partnership marketing programs which leverage complementary brands in order to build cultural connection, drive sales and increase the top of mind awareness of our products and services.
- Work with subsidiaries to design, plan, develop and produce all communications strategies, activities, and retail merchandizing materials. Ensure brand consistency throughout the department’s marketing campaigns, retail merchandizing material and activities.
- Support the subsidiaries in APAC in determining the strategic direction of department’s communications programs in marcom, advertising and retail merchandizing areas.
- Manage external vendors and source sponsors/partners in relation to marketing activities, promotions, direct mailing, collaterals production, web/online development, events and retail merchandizing.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budget. Coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion with great quality and within budget.
- Provide market intelligence in the area of advertising, event and merchandizing by key competitors to assist business owners in deciding on marketing and retail activities.

Ø Bachelors' degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related field with 8 - 10 years of marketing experience is required (MBA is view positively)

The Office365 Sales Team is part of the WW EPG organization and has the charter to build the foundation for scaling the Microsoft Online business worldwide in FY12 and beyond. Office365 is a strategic Cloud Services initiative for our company and is a key growth engine for Microsoft’s Enterprise Business globally. The Asia Time Zone sales team is composed of “Global Black Belt” (GBB) Solution Sales Specialists who are responsible for selling Office365 cloud services to our Enterprise and Public Sector customers in a direct sales model while working in partnership with STU, ATU, Enterprise Services, Partners, WWLP, LCA, and Corporate entities. The Office 365 Sales Team will engage and win deals in our largest, most complex, and most competitive accounts. We specialize in engaging versus Google and IBM while helping to secure the Microsoft productivity platform. Lastly, we provide Office 365 commercial and engineering feedback to corporate stakeholder on behalf of the Asia time zone while sharing best practices with our subsidiary colleagues.

The Office365 services are hosted in Microsoft datacenters on behalf of our customers. These public cloud services differ from traditional outsourcing in that we do not transfer assets or people from the customer. Rather, we migrate workloads from the customer to our datacenter environment, upgrade their existing technology when needed, and once migrated, provide an up-to-date Software + Service experience with committed service levels for a monthly fee. Customers are choosing to move from existing on-premises implementations of our technology (and competitive platforms) to hosted, fully managed implementations of our technology.

Main responsibilities of the GBB Sales Specialist role include:

1. Securing Customer Commitments to Office 365:

-Selling Office 365 thru world class execution of the “Customer Decision Framework” (CDF) as the standard sales process for Office 365 sales pursuits.

-Partnering with Microsoft’s Enterprise (EPG) subsidiary leadership and account teams to profile, segment and prioritize opportunities.

-Working with the local subsidiary leadership to identify the Office365 opportunities the GBB will be expected to lead and close as the opportunity owner.

-Being accountable for achieving assigned user scorecard targets in each subsidiary and exceeding assigned user and revenue targets.

-Working with STU “Local Black Belt” SSP and TSP colleagues to help them efficiently qualify in/out and win Office 365 deals.

-Building a strong pipeline.

-Modeling great sales discipline.

-Attaching services to every deal.

-Securing BPOS to Office 365 transition commitments.

-Leading/participating in customer sales briefings as needed and assisting in the development of cloud presentations.

-Identifying and capturing RFP/RFI processes and determining the probability to affect/influence the RFP authoring process to best position Office365.

-Driving Sales Excellence: pipeline management, reporting, accurate forecasting, landing of Cloud Principles, CDF, etc. at a local level.

2. Developing the Office 365 Ecosystem in your territory:

-Driving competency and accountability with Local Black Belt, STU, and ATU colleagues.

-Being the Office 365 playbook and CDF mentor/coach. Proactively transfer knowledge with internal & external constituents.

-Supporting channel development efforts.

-Importing and exporting best practices.

-Being responsible for developing regional-specific contacts & expertise required to replicate sales and further penetrate identified EPG markets.

-Engaging with senior management roles in the field and at corp to help drive alignment to deliver results.

Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT sales and/or consulting in the Enterprise segment, deep insight across Enterprise marketing, partner and IT services functions, and be familiar with field needs to successfully drive a new program. Ideally, the candidate should have experience selling Office 365 and/or BPOS. Also desired is experience in the Outsourcing/Hosting/SaaS/Telco space including related sales processes, customer and partner requirements and being deeply familiar with EPG’s field roles and challenges.

Demonstrable skills in the following areas are critical:
