Social Impact (SI) is a Washington, DC-area international

improve the effectiveness of international development programs

management consulting, technical assistance, and training
services to strengthen international development programs,
organizations, and policies. We provide services globally in
the areas of monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning,
project and program design, organizational capacity building,
and gender and social analysis. SI services cross-cut all
development sectors including democracy and governance, health
and education, the environment, and economic growth. SI’s
clients include US government agencies such as USAID, the
Millennium Challenge Corporation, the US Department of State,
bilateral donors, multilateral development banks, foundations,
and non-profits.
Proposal Objective:
Social Impact is responding to USAID/Indonesia’ s M&E
Support solicitation, which is looking to develop tools and
operating procedures in performance monitoring, verification,
and evaluation of the results of USAID projects. This includes
setting up systems to ensure these results and findings are
used to inform continued efforts of USAID and other
stakeholders.
1.The objectives are to provide USAID/Indonesia and other
stakeholders an unbiased, data-driven account of
USAID/Indonesia’s progress towards achieving the development,
2.To provide expert evaluation and analytical services, and;
3.To guide USAID/Indonesia in using performance information and
the results of evaluation and analysis.
These outputs from the contract will enable USAID/Indonesia,
implementing partners, and other stakeholders to make better
management decisions and to adapt program implementation for
improved results. SI is seeking a CLA Advisor to be the primary
subject matter expert for Collaboration, Learning and Adapting
on the proposed five-year contract in a full-time capacity from
Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
The CLA Advisor will be responsible for:
- Coordinating CLA events and the newsletter.
- Expanding the network of professionals and institutions
that collaborate on performance management and evaluation tasks
for the contract.
- Lead training tasks, and efforts to ensure evaluation
findings and recommendations are transparent and distributed to
relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in international development, statistics,
adult education, organizational learning, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in adult education,
organizational learning, knowledge management, and/or
monitoring and evaluating international development, social
welfare, health, and/or education projects.
- Experience in developing countries required, experience in
Indonesia preferred.
- Demonstrated experience planning and implementing training
courses for adult professionals on topics related to
international development assistance; preferably on performance
management topics.
- Experience building organizational capacity in monitoring,
evaluation, and strategic learning preferred.
