General Manager


The Company:
An engineered products & solutions provider is seeking a General Manager

The Role:
• Responsible for building and growing the Indoneasian Organization and Structure for Business Goals and Objectives
• Identify business opportunities, new markets, new products, new customers, define business strategy responding to business demand and growth target to increase market shares in Indonesia
• Implement business plan according to approved budget and accomplish sales targets and profitability
• Establish sales strategy and target and develop plans to achieve them
• Provide vision and leadership to the organization by assisting the MD/President and staff with the development of short/ long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress of business plans
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide market intelligent to MD/President
• Develops, reviews, updates and implement business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and new route to the market
• Provide recommendation regarding investment and cash strategies
• Provide direction and oversees any public relations, marketing, profitability and sales, service, reporting, capital requirements and other duties as assigned MD/President
• Ensure full compliance on Global and Regional policies
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual business and financial reports, bi-annually budget, regular variance statements and annual report, etc
• Partnering with functional experts (ie: HR, Financial, Marketing, etc) to ensure fully compliance on international and local regulations
• Provide vision and leadership in long-range fiscal planning to ensure the overall financial health of the company, its continuity and solvency
• Participate and lead in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all division department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objective to meet
• Responsible for building / hiring the up the right competencies/talent in Indonesia office
• Provide coaching and guidance to the team
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the cooperative goals and result to talent selection, development, coaching and supporting the employee team


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• At least a bachelor degree on business administrator or related field, preferably MBA
• Experience in Motor, Drive, etc
• Preferably have set-up experience
• Minimum of 5 years experiences in business management, planning and financial oversight, experienced in sales and marketing in fast-moving consumer good industry is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years experiences working regional team
• Proven skills in business and financial management
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a cross-functional team
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural organization
• Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, effective conflict-management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced setting
• Proven ability to cope with conflict and stress situations
• Experience in marketing area is advantage

• Preferably have set-up experience
• God negotiating skills
• Strong Business Acumen
• Effective Communication Proficiency
• Demonstrate strong ability in problem Solving/ Analysis
• Strategic Thinking
