The Company:
An oil company is seeking some HSE Project Representative
The Role:
• To develop and operate one of the largest gas reservoirs where the job holder will supervise, advice and train on site employees on all aspects of Health Safety & Environment and providing support for on-site operations
• Act as an HSE Advisor to set appropriate objectives for HSE management, Emergency management and implementation.
• Giving assistances to Company Representative in the implementation of Company HSE Policies and procedure on site.
• Monitoring HSE performance and preparing HSE periodic reports to conform to Company reporting standard.
• Liaising with Company HSE Management and on site Company Representative, regarding HSE matters/activities.
• Involve in Emergency Response including Medivac, Oil Spill Response, Hazardous waste, etc.
• Involve in the accident/incident reporting and investigation team.
• To Ensure and support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for all site activities
• Organizes audit programs including coordination and recordkeeping of site audits with HSE Contractor.
• In liaison with HSE Contractor conduct HSE inspections, training, meeting, briefing, drills and exercises.
• Ensure safe explosives handling.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience preferable in Oil & Gas Exploration (Drilling or and Seismic) Operations.
• Minimum 5 years experiences as HSE professional in a supervisory role in a drilling rig or and seismic site environment.
• NEBOSH/IOSH Trained or Equivalent Team leadership experience.
• ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified
• Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL)
• Exceptional coaching / teaching skills.
• Strong communication / interpersonal / teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong team work spirit and cultural awareness
