Responsibilities: Responsible for all manufacturing, manufacturing support and administrative functions needed to support shipyard operations.Ensures compliance with all Safety, Quality, Company and Regulatory directives.Directs activities in areas of safety and personnel, production, scheduling, material handling, and quality.Leads and manages foremen, QC/QA and shipyard personnel.Provides shipbuilding and repair (mainly tugs and barges) technical guidance and advices to team members.Directs and coordinates shipyard operations within company policies and procedures.Fosters a well-trained and motivated staff.Maintains a clean and safe plant.Coordinates with all functional areas of the shipyard to ensure production schedules are met.Creates and prioritizes necessary resources and steps required to accomplish goals on time.Responsible for overall quality control of the shipyard.Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Marine / Maritime / Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fieldsMinimum 8 years experience in shipyard environment, with minimum 3 years managerial experienceMust know how to read vessel drawings, and must have a good understanding of all the technicalities involvedMust be able to work in shipyard in KalimantanMust possess in-depth knowledge of all business functions associated with shipyard managementAble to speak English and preferably also Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia (or Malay) (in order to liaise with Multi- Language speaking clients and associates)Must be adaptable and open to new ideasTake full responsibility for their business objectives and turn problems into challengesAbility to analyze situations, react quickly and work collaboratively.
