Responsibilities: Working on variety of projects, either as part of the team or leading the team in a project management role to support the delivery of solutions to our clientsPrepare proposals, reports and presentations for clients and clientsBuild on and expand existing information networks and databases to provide the fundamental support for the bioenergy practice area and for the Forest Land and Wood Products practice areaActively engage in the marketing and sale of services within the South East Asian region (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore and Indochina) in accordance to the bioenergy business plan. This will be through self initiated activities as well as working with senior staff to undertake sales and marketing activities in a structured mannerSupporting the development and growth of the agricultural and bioenergy client base in the Asia Pacific regionUtilize the CRM tools to increase effectiveness and aid sales.Carry out Poyry’s vision to the customer and follow guidelines set by companyRequirements: Educated to degree level, an MSc in agriculture or higher is required. In addition a finance, economics or MBA degree would be advantageous At least 10 years hands on technical working experience in relevant agricultural sectors in Asia/Oceania with specific focus on sugar cane, oil palm and other agricultural feedstock’s related to bioethanol and biodiesel. A very strong base of high level contacts in the agricultural sector within South East Asia, including contacts with the leading oil palm plantation companies, Sugar cane growers and processors and industrial scale agricultural developersPrevious consulting experience and proven ability to develop client leads and close proposals is highly advantageousExcellent communication and presentation skills as well as team abilities and interpersonal skillsWell-organised and structuredFlexibility to travel within Asia-Pacific (Indonesia, China, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam) Caribbean and Africa when and where relevantFluency in English is essential and a second language such as Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageousA dynamic working environment which you can grow and develop your careerChallenging tasks and opportunity to interact with global teamOpportunities to develop your career in fast growing regionTraining and development for your career progressionYour performance will be rewarded accordingly If this challenge appeals to you and if you can offer drive, commitment and enthusiasm, we look forward to hearing from you.
