Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator – Biodiversity Conservation Program, Indonesia

is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified

candidates for a potential Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

Coordinator position on a USAID funded program in Indonesia.

The program, known as SOROT, will address the market forces,

financial incentives, policy levers, and social norms and

values that drive deforestation and biodiversity loss in

Indonesia. SOROT will subsequently promote enduring changes in

individual and organizational behavior in order to reduce

greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and conserve valuable marine and

terrestrial biodiversity across Indonesia.



The ME&L Coordinator will work with program staff and

partners to coordinate the systematic and standardized

collection, analysis, and interpretation of the project’s

performance results and geographic information from the

project’s targeted implementation areas. The position will be

full time and based in Jakarta.



Qualifications:



* Degree in Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management,

Forestry, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field;

Master’s degree preferred;



* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing monitoring,

evaluation and learning systems of complex international

development projects; USAID experience strongly preferred;



* Demonstrated ability to support development and maintenance

of a PMP data management system, including providing training,

materials/tools, and ongoing guidance to staff and partners

responsible for submitting data;



* Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English required;



* Strong data analysis skills, with an emphasis in statistics

and geographic information systems experience;



* Qualified Indonesian nationals strongly encouraged to apply.
