Indonesia: Road Safety Coordinator for Road Policing

As part of the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety, Bloomberg Philanthropies will support the salaries of 3 (three) “embedded” staff within the offices of the Government of Bandung City. The purpose of these positions is to assist the Government of Bandung City in implementing the work plans of road safety and to provide a link between the city and the relevant International organizations providing technical assistance. Union North America (UNA) will work with each city government to recruit, hire, and assist the host government to oversee the work of these “embedded” staff.


Government of Bandung City supported by the Union North America (UNA) opens the opportunity for professionals to become Embedded Staff Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety in Bandung in 2015, with the following conditions:


Placed in Indonesian National Police Office of West Java, Bandung Resort Large City: for People and Post Crash Saver (Handling Post-Accident) with authority over traffic-related law road policing activities


  1. Indonesian citizen and preferably domiciled in Bandung;

  2. Physically and mentally;

  3. Academic qualifications – at least Master’s level of Law, at least 3 years experiences in road traffic policy, traffic policing, or related enforcement agencies

  4. Government experience preferred

  5. English language proficiency desirable but not required
