Mechanical Industrial CAD Drafter/Designer - Coffman Engineers, Inc. - Spokane, WA
The position
Mechanical Industrial CAD Drafter/Designer: We are looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated CAD Designer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects. The successful candidate will have five-plus years of experience as a CAD designer in the design of industrial piping systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in providing design for a variety of projects involving process piping design, oil and gas pipelines, pumping and compressor systems. Work includes development of piping related drawings such as P&ID’s, isometrics, piping general arrangement drawings, sections and details, pipe spools and bill of materials.
Requirements include:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD
· Experience designing Industrial piping systems
· Ability to read and prepare project drawings including P&IDs, plans, sections, isometric piping drawings, and bills of materials
· Familiarity with designing to ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and/or B31.8 codes
· Experience with oil and gas facility design
· Experience with process piping layout, bulk storage tank farm design, pipeline design
Preferred qualifications are:
· Steam piping
· Bentley AutoPlant or Intergraph CADWorx
· Experience working successfully in a team environment
· Experience working successfully in a fast-track environment
· Resident in the Pacific NW region
