POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Specialist, Testing Operations is a core member of the Testing Operations team for the regional Health Care Compliance and Privacy (HCC&P) Operations group, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Testing Operations, Regional HCC and Privacy Operations. The Lead Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing the testing plans consistent with the business needs and standards developed by the Center of Excellence (COE), HCC and Privacy Operations. The Lead Specialist will also be required to help in developing the said plan and will assist in COE related activities beyond testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with assigned Health Care Compliance Officers (HCCOs) from all sectors to develop the annual and special needs testing plan

Helps develop and implement a consistent and standardized Testing approach

Develops harmonized and standardized Testing Protocols, systems and processes in partnership with the business HCCOs

Plans and executes testing performed at each of countries / Operating Companies (OpCo’s) assigned in partnership with the HCCO’s using a customized approach as necessary for the country environment.

Communicates results with Company management/Regional Management and helps Company develop management action plans (MAP)

Document testing results in a report

Helps develop Monitoring Controls at the Countries, including training on the toolkits

Helps HCCOs with training as appropriate.

Represents the region on project teams to harmonize and standardize HCC and Privacy testing & monitoring protocols, processes and systems

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries
- Cross-functional and/or cross-sector experience preferred
- Experience leading in a multi-national environment preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience and demonstrated leadership in HCC or related compliance function (regulatory, quality, finance, HCC)
- Cross-functional and/or cross-sector experience preferred
- Experience leading in a multi-national environment preferred

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Requires experience conducting audits and managing auditing programs in one or more compliance areas (HCC, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), GCC, Finance, Quality, Regulatory)
- Requires knowledge of HCC/fraud and abuse laws; regulatory promotional practices; FCPA, financial or auditing practices and company business and policies.
- Demonstrated quantitative analytical or statistical skills required
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
- Fluency in other additional languages of the region such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean preferred
- Ability to successfully manage multiple critical issues simultaneously
- Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate with both internal and external customers

Location: Indonesia / Thailand / Vietnam preferred; 25% travel required
