Purchasing Officer...
A 6 month contract to start as soon as possible, SAP experience is ideal combined with procurement experience or inventory control.
Duties to include :-
Stock transfers and purchasesProcessing of non-stock orders for all third party purchasesRaise good receipt notesProcess all invoicesProcess stock requisitionProcess and finalise product receipt and invoice queriesSet up and maintain vendor and item details on systemIdentify, source and obtain initial pricing on new raw materials and packagingCarry out the day to day administration and supervision of raw material and packaging suppliers supporting the head of purchasingInvestigate all invoice and delivery discrepancies
This is just an overview of the job description. The successful candidate will have proven experience of using SAP, purchasing experience, inventory control and excellent communicator. Our client is an international manufacturer which would involve liaising with other colleagues all over the world.
