BEHAVIOR CHANGE AND MARKETING ADVISOR, IUWASH PLUS- INDONESIA

Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for an anticipated IUWASH PLUS, USAID-funded project in Indonesia. The project aims to assist the Government of Indonesia to increase access to improved water and sanitation services and improve key hygiene behaviors, especially among the poorest and most vulnerable. This position will work under the direction of the Chief of Party and will be responsible for directing the behavior change and marketing activities to increase household-level access to and use of water and sanitation services as well as to improve household hygiene behaviors. This would be a full-time position, based in Jakarta. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

*At least ten years of experience in behavior change or marketing, preferably within

Indonesian context.

*Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in environmental health, public health, public

administration, marketing, or other relevant field.

*Proven experience in undertaking activities aimed at empowering poor urban

communities and individuals such as organizing civil society groups or community based

organizations for improved access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.

*Experience with behavior change marketing campaigns, market analyses and developing

market strategies.

*Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to fulfill the technical and

managerial responsibilities proposed.

*Working experience in developing countries required; experience in Indonesia preferred.

*Strong English writing and speaking skills.

*Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and knowledge of Indonesian culture preferred.
