Experience of selling IT support services - vital
• Experience of selling into SME Market Space of between 10 and 150 Users
• Experience of designing solutions based on Microsoft Windows 2008 Server and Small Business Server 2008
• Experience of Email solutions based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and 2003
• Experience of Network design and Local Area Networks including switching and routing
• Experience of hardware specification including servers, storage and connectivity
• Experience of business requirements for IT solution, responsibility for designing solution based on client requirements, specifying hardware, software and professional services
• Exposure to Virtualisation technologies
Nice to have:
• Experience of selling into 150-250 user marketplace
• Experience of Storage Area Network (SAN) technology
• Experience of Hewlett Packard Proliant and Storageworks
• Experience of VMWare/Virtualisation technologies and solutions
Fundamentally my client is looking for a proven salesperson into the SME infrastructure market and IT support services and not programming, development or other overly technical discipline. Ideally you will have a good technical grasp of how things plug together and why and be able to design (with assistance) solutions which can be sold to the customer as a total solution to their technology outsourcing.
