We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with an excellent knowledge of Linux Red Hat and Apache to administer and maintain a broad range of systems and networks supporting high profile websites and web based platforms for a leading global media and publishing organisation based in Central London.

Skills required for the Systems Administrator: Thorough knowledge of Linux Red Hat and ApacheA broad systems knowledge including some of the following; Java, Jetty or J2EE, VMWare ESX, Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 (including Active Directory), SQL Server, MySQL, Backup Exec, Tomcat, Ruby or PythonNetworking knowledge, preferably with exposure to Cisco, F5 or BigIPDemonstrable experience maintaining live websites or web environments

Knowledge of STM publishing practices and the publishing industry would be beneficial but not essential.

As the Systems Administrator you will maintain development, stage and live environments bridging physical hosts, virtual machines and external cloud providers using your knowledge of Linux Red Hat and Apache. Working as part of a highly skilled team you will ensure critical system availability and be responsible for an array of technology initiatives.

Salary: £52-60k + Pension + Health + 25 days holiday
