Indonesia: Seeking candidates for anticipated health sector project in Indonesia
RTI International is requesting expressions of interest from qualified professionals for an anticipated USAID-funded Maternal and Child Health Project opportunity in Indonesia. All positions are contingent upon award and funding.
Candidates are sought for the following openings:
Chief of Party (COP) will be responsible for leading all aspects of contract performance, providing technical and administrative guidance to all tasks under the contract, serve as primary liaison with USAID and stakeholders. Qualifications include:A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Health; International Development or related area and at least 12 years of experience in the implementation and management of international donor- (including USAID-) funded health projects with at least 5 years in a senior management position with USAID-funded programs. Experience in health sector improvement methodologies, capacity development, or institutional strengthening programs in Indonesia. Fluency in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia is highly desired.
Technical Experts: Technical experts will be responsible for developing work plans, planning activities, provision of technical leadership and engagement and achieving results related to respective area of expertise. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Health, International Development, or related area and 9 years of progressively responsible experience managing aspects of donor projects in Indonesia. Candidates with expertise in the following areas are sought:
- Maternal and child and neonatal health
- Health governance
- Health systems strengthening
- Health finance and insurance
- Human resources for health planning
- Quality assurance and improvement
- Information communication technology
- Health information systems
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Operations research
- Knowledge management and communications
Senior Finance and Operations Manager:will be responsible for providing day‐to‐day project leadership in the management of financial and operational staff. Qualifications include:A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Finance, International Development, or related area and 9 years of progressively responsible experience managing aspects (such as grants, operations, and procurement) of donor-funded projects in Indonesia. Experience working on USAID-funded contracts and ensuring cost control and compliance is required.
