Testing & Production Services Product Line Manager


The Company:
an oilfield services company is seeking a Testing & Production Services Product Line Manager

The Role:
Lead Company Product Line and keep all of the employees safe and to protect the environment.
Lead and manage the team to deliver a quality service to our customers and clients.
Lead the Product Line to support our customers to maximise our business.
Be a professional representative of Weatherford to our clients and the industry and to actively seek out opportunities to present at external events.
Establish strong professional relationships with the relevant customers and other industry personnel
Manage personnel and equipment for customer operations.
Coordinate efforts between plant manufacturing or engineering, R&D engineering, and sales/service offices.
Focus on maximising revenue and EBIT/profit through sales growth and focus – to achieve a strong CPM (Comparative Performance Matrix) score.
Focus on sales of existing products as well as introduction of new products or technologies.
Ensure accurate forecasting to enable proper planning of the business.
Meet budget revenue and EBIT targets
Review and manage costs/headcount/assets on a monthly/quarterly basis and react quickly and appropriately to make any necessary adjustments
Set and oversee budgets for operating cost and equipment purchases and measure productivity against these.
Ensure the revenue is converted into cash – avoiding leakage from poor service quality, invoicing issues, penalties, Asset and Inventory write-offs etc.
Lead the Product Line Team to compliantly achieve the business objectives
Show strong leadership and make the correct decisions for the business (particularly those decisions which are unpopular and “tough”) without being instructed to do so by senior management
Where applicable, manage field personnel utilisation effectively including scheduling vacations to minimise excessive accrual of vacation days whilst satisfying operation needs.
Responsible for employee supervision, performance management and coordinating training.
Ensure good working relationships are maintained between the Product Line members and other stakeholders within the company
Lead the entire Product Line Team to be compliant with local regulations and laws, Company’s rules, procedures and policies, Asset and Inventory Golden Rules


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in a petroleum, mechanical engineering / management discipline or equivalent preferred
10 years experience in TPS of which at least 5 years in field coupled with sales and or business coordinator experience.
Have the technical knowledge and ability to manage the TPS Product Line
Ability to lead the team to deliver a quality service to customers
Excellent customer and employee interpersonal skills (including presentation skills)
Ability to manage the financial aspects of the business (Profit and Loss, Cash, Asset & Inventory control)
Ability to lead, manage and develop staff to full potential.
Good knowledge of oilfield product and services
Basic knowledge of relevant computer software
Proven working experience/familiarity with Indonesia market
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
