I. POSITION INFORMATION

Position title : Intern (4 positions)
Duty station : Jakarta
Type & duration of Contract : Internship contract for 3 (three) months, with the possibility of extension.
Organizational unit: Counter Trafficking/Labour Migration (CT/LM) Unit – IOM Jakarta
Reporting directly to : National Project Coordinator (NPC)
Overall supervision by : Chief of Mission
Preferred starting date : Immediately
Closing date 25 November 2015

II. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE

Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.

Under the general supervision of the Labour Migration and Counter-trafficking (CT/LM Unit) National Project Coordinator in IOM Jakarta, the Intern will assist in project activities in relation to Counter Trafficking and Labour Migration project.
