They are looking for a legally qualified candidate to assist with winning profitable business by developing commercial strategies that meet the business's and customers business objectives. With a predominant focus on legal and business risk. Drafting and finalising contractual agreements utilising standard templates and adaptations.Negotiating agreements (including pre-contractual agreements) as part of the commercial sales process, including, but not limited to Sales, Service Agreements (Maintenance, Professional Services, Managed Services), Hosted Solutions, NDAs/ Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming, Distribution, Systems Integrator and Government Solutions Agreements.Highlighting commercial and legal risks and identifying the business process owners of any non-standard activities and seeking authorization of proposed variations and advising the business process owners of areas of commercial/legal risk and potential solutions/alternativesAssessing viability of customer requested contract changes and assisting in the settlement of customer contractual claims. Assisting in the settlement of payment disputes/insolvency issues associated with commercial sales agreementsDeveloping and drafting responses to customers which manage the financial, legal, and business risks to the company while facilitating sales.Analyzing the potential risks to the company in requests for proposals/requests for quotations (RFPs/RFQs) and requests for non-standard terms and conditions, and providing input to our responses. Liaison with external legal parties as required.Communication of activity to all affective parties on a regular and appropriate basis
