The Senior Marketing Manager for Growth and Acquisition will play a critical role driving the growth of Change.org’s platform. This individual will develop a deep understanding of our users and will focus on driving top-of-the-funnel acquisition activities to increase awareness of Change.org among users, re-engaging existing users, and ultimately increasing the number of new users and petitions started. They will craft the marketing strategy and execute programs across multiple channels to achieve this goal. This is a unique opportunity to shape one of the company’s top priorities with a collaborative, cross functional team.


Here’s what you’ll do as part of our team:
Lead strategy, execution and optimization of growth and acquisition marketing activities.


Develop a deep understanding of petition starters and their lifecycle to identify opportunities that inform an insights-driven approach to strategy and tactics.


Lead extended teams to execute acquisition marketing programs across multiple channels, including email, in-product marketing, online partnerships and distribution, social, and paid media, among others.


Work with key internal partners to develop and execute content strategy and distribution, and write copy for key initiatives.


Develop robust testing and learning agenda and execute experiments to optimize petition growth marketing campaigns.


Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including marketers, product managers, campaigners and data scientists, to execute strategies and initiatives across the company.


Develop global standards, processes and best practices for petition growth marketing programs, ensuring campaigns are optimized and on-brand.


Identify, define and scope tools and resources needed to successfully execute petition growth marketing strategy.


Analyze and report on performance to executive management and key stakeholders.


And here are the skills & experience you have:
7+ years product marketing and digital marketing experience.


Proven track record of success developing acquisition and engagement strategies across multiple channels.


Hands on management experience, expertise and knowledge of acquisition and engagement channels including email, search, social, content and paid media, among others.


Proven track record of optimizing marketing programs to increase key metrics including site conversion.


Strong experience uncovering actionable customer insights and developing insights-driven marketing programs.


Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset, including expertise with analytics tools.


Experience developing external marketing partnerships.


Successful track record collaborating and managing cross-functional teams to drive results.


Excellent writing and communication skills.


BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
