Proposal Summary:
The purpose of this anticipated five-year project is to work in partnership with the Government of Indonesia to build effective systems to prevent corruption. It will engage a variety of partners, including the Judiciary, various executive and independent agencies, civil society, and the media. This is a full-time position.

Position Summary:
The Grants Manager will supervise and implement the issuing of sub-grants and subcontracts to local Indonesian organizations. S/He will supervise a small team and diverse group of partners, liaise with the MSI headquarters office and with the USAID Jakarta Mission.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the grant program processes and serve as a prime contact for all technical grantee s and subcontractors.
- Develop in coordination with MSI/HQ all documents and manuals related to the grant program, including, but not limited to: requests for application, grant agreements, amendments to grant agreements, grant evaluation manual, grant management manual, grant monitoring manual, grantee training manual.
- Disseminate grant program announcements and collect applications.
- Organize, coordinate and participate in the evaluation process of applications for grants, including work of the Evaluation Committee.
- On behalf of CEGAH, review and negotiate with grant applicants on proposed scopes of work, work plans, and budgets.
- Review and ensure compliance of all documents included in the application for a grant.
- Provide training to grant applicants on preparation of the application for a grant.
- Properly document all procedures and communication undertaken for the implementation of grants and subcontracts .
- Monitor implementation of the grant projects. Work with the project M&E Manager to develop and regularly revise monitoring schedules.
- Conduct regular site visits for monitoring and evaluation purposes , as needed .
- Collect and review reports and deliverable and cost-share contributions submitted by grant recipients.
- File and ensure presence of all grant documents including, but not limited to application for a grant, evaluation documents, certificates, grant agreement and any amendments, technical reports, deliverables, financial and cost-share reports.
- Contribute to the annual project monitoring and evaluation plan (PMEP) in coordination with the Project’s M&E Manager and MSI/HQ.
- Support the M&E Manager in the collection of data for the PMEP related to the grants program, and generate appropriate databases.
- Prepare quarterly, annual and final report contributions regarding the grants program, including analyses of measurable accomplishments against activities conducted and program objectives.
- Supervise the Grant Assistant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant subject required. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years relevant experience managing USAID grants.
- Experience with US Government procurement guidelines required.
- Good knowledge of Indonesian non-governmental sector required.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
