Regional Sales Manager - Indonesia - Ruckus Wireless, Inc - Field, KY

Summary:

Ruckus is seeking an entrepreneurial individual (or individuals) who can help accelerate Ruckus’s enterprise business presence in all the relevant markets within their defined territory. Applicants should have experience in selling IT products to high-level level management and other decision makers. Knowledge of setting up and selling through distribution and VAR partners is important and a good knowledge of VARs/distributors in the territory is essential. A good networking knowledge is mandatory and a reasonable understanding of Wi-Fi is advantageous. This person will preferably be able to demonstrate some technical ‘’hands-on’’ capability in terms of demonstrating products to resellers. solid understanding of large channel organizations and integrated solution selling and be comfortable engaging with and be able to work with cross functional teams. It would be an advantage to have demonstrated experience in the creation of channel strategies and successful execution of Channel partner business plans including contract negotiations, sales, marketing and services go to market plans. It is extremely useful to have knowledge and experience with large outdoor radio deployments.


Primary Responsibilities:


– Generate enterprise business opportunities and wireless broadband access opportunities and manage the sales process through to closure of the sale.


– Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Ruckus products and services.


– Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these during the sales process.


– Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.


– Understand, develop and grow territory whereby monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets are achieved and exceeded.


– Understand and convey key business issues facing distributors, resellers and customers


– Develop sales plan to provide market overview and sales/marketing strategy for achieving sales target.


– Recruit and manage the channel partners including distributors/resellers/Systems Integrators.


– Manage all aspects of the sales cycle to secure new customers


– Develop and plan sales/marketing activities and campaigns within each country.


– Understand, where appropriate, opportunities for localization of our products and services.


– Maintain sufficient activity levels to achieve sales target (Quota) and build appropriate pipelines to achieve quarterly sales targets for the following two quarters.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of solution and service based sales experience within a networking hardware and/or related high technology business environment.

  • Minimum 3 years selling enterprise network products and services, preferably with wireless experience.

  • Candidates should have knowledge or experience of outdoor radio solutions

  • Candidates will be highly motivated and have extensive experience in successfully selling large ticket solutions in their region.

  • Excellent knowledge of multiple platforms in correlation with wireless networking, competitors and market landscape is required.

  • Candidates must have strong presentation, written and oral communication skills as well as the demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

  • Significant travel required.


This person must be able to demonstrate a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and a willingness to work hard to succeed.
