Position Overview:
We are looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to support the Logistics team as we build the infrastructure needed to support the US market for substantial growth. The Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst will help manage inbound logistics, distribution, ecommerce fulfillment, transportation, and store logistics activities in the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, Access and other data management systems.
Coordinate and liaise with stores and carriers to manage delivery schedules and resolve exceptions over UNIQLO’s retail store and Ecommerce network
Managing back end inventory systems to control flow of product to the retail store network
Working with distribution center and store teams to manage inventory control and resolve discrepancies
Monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Reporting on critical areas of the logistics network to use in managing performance of the business
Actively working across stakeholders including Partner Companies, IT, Merchandising and Allocation, and Finance teams on understanding current processes, proposing enhancements and agreeing on expected outcomes/timelines for small to medium projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (computer science, engineering, math or economics a plus)
3-5 years of experience as an analyst in a supply chain function in a retail or e-commerce environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited structure and direct supervision.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience developing and driving adoption of cross departmental processes a plus
Strong analytical ability
Understands how systems interact and can reasonably predict how changes will impact organizational flows
Strong organizational, communication, consensus building, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to drive results
Strong computer skills including experience with Excel
