Internal Audit Manager

About Koperasi KASIH Indonesia (KKI)

• KKI is a social business that provides hope and ways for the poor to exit poverty in sustainable way. We also aim to become a home where our team grows and lives their fullest potential. KKI is marked by its unshakeable idealism to empower the poor.

• To achieve above vision, KKI provides integrated support for our members: Education, savings facility and micro-loan, combined with insurance. For our team, we develop and grow them through day-to-day challenges and lessons.

• KKI Leadership Team consists of 4 people who left their comfortable jobs at McKinsey & Company, Unilever, RBS and Sinar Mas to work in slum area with 50-80% salary cut. They put their lives for the poor even though they can work for big companies.

• 4.5 years in this journey, KKI has 38 employees, reached 11,170 poor people (7,279 are active), channeled IDR >24 billion of loan, facilitated IDR >5 billion of savings, delivered >1,700 training sessions, and grew assets by >11,900% (IDR 50 million to >6 billion). Last year, we were awarded E&Y Indonesia Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 – most prestigious award for entrepreneurs, as the youngest institution ever to receive it. KKI has been visited by institutions like Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School and World Bank.

• Going forward, we want to reach 70,000 members by 2020 and 1 million members from Aceh to Papua by 2035. In doing that, we will keep idealism to really empower the poor to exit poverty: Not just giving the fish OR the fishing rod, but also how to fish and even breed those fish.

• We are forming a solid team that will change the lives of millions of poor people. It’s your turn to join us. Wait no more.
