Data Scientist - Pioneering Manufacturing Opportunity

Are you a Machine Learning Master, with an image processing Passion? Want to work in Indonesia or Malaysia, with opportunities to travel? Want to be a pioneer in the world of Data Science?

One of the worlds largest resource-based manufacturing groups, with operations all over the world, are moving from outsourced analytics and want to develop their in house capabilities, and as such, are looking for a talented Data Scientist.

You will be responsible for initially supporting the current analytics process, moving towards building and developing their in-house Data Science capabilities, with a view towards management, as a pioneer in the field.

Other responsibilities will also include, learning the new industry, and also, in the future, training more junior members of the team.

As their Data Scientist, you will have a proven track record of being able to play with data and design AI models, to gain intelligence from data, with experience with R and Python, and a background in image processing.

Ideally 3-4 years of experience is required, but less would be considered for really interesting projects!

Domain knowledge in Agriculture, plantation, or natural resources would be desirable, but is not necessary.
