Financial Controller

The Company:
An international certification body and classification society is seeking Financial Controller

The Role:
– Manage day-to-day accounting activities for 4 entities in Indonesia,
– Manage the relationship with internal customers following the agreed SLA,
– Manage the relationship with the local tax authorities, external and internal auditors and other local regulatory bodies,
– Lead the accounting and tax compliance activities,
– Participate to the integration activities, process improvement and new ERP system implementation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
– Able to use Oracle
– At least 2 years of experience in similar position.
– 15 years and above, 2 years in Shared Service capacity
– Min 10 years, at least 2 years in shared service.
– Has international experience (potentially having worked outside of Indonesia for a while or someone who wants to return to Indonesia)
– Experienced work with a shared services centre that is located in another country (doesn’t necessarily need to have knowledge of running a shared services centre)
– Understand ethics and compliance principles as per European or US standards
– Coming from a Big 4 audit company with the right accounting qualifications
– Understand matrix organizations
– Experienced in managing a small accounting team
