Engineering Manager

The Company:
an Energy company is seeking an Engineering Manager

The Role:
– Manage oversight of field, the operator with particular focus on evaluation/stewarding appraisal/development programs and in stewarding Engineering Procurement Construction Installation construction projects, including Floating production storage and offloading or floating point unit.
– Working with joint venture partner(s) and Company’s teams responsible for Indonesia and South Asia, manage the engineering activities conducted by a multidisciplinary team engaged in exploration, evaluation, and development of Company’s assets and new ventures.
– Manage all engineering activities for Company, including annual reserves reporting.
– Be the primary engineering and project liaison with Indonesian government and regulatory agencies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
– Completed Post Secondary Education
– Holding Professional Engineer’s License
– 10 years E&P experiences
– Proven experience in managing engineering and construction components of exploration and development programs
– Proven experience in JVs and Government Liaison
– Experiences in Planning & Conducting operated-by-others and new venture engineering reviews
– Evaluation of field development proposals
– Understanding of reserve calculation and reservoir simulation methods
– Knowledgeable about well test, reservoir simulation and production engineering software
– Ability to work with Head Office functional teams and provide useful engineering assessments
– Self-starter, forward-thinker, dedicated and good communication skills
– Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently
– Good understanding of EPCI projects, and production operations
