VACANCY: DRIVER
Applications are invited for the position of driver at the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC), Semarang with an immediate work commencement.
JCLEC is a training institute jointly managed by the Indonesian National Police and the Australian Federal Police, where police officers from Indonesia as well as South-East Asia receive training in a variety of subjects related to trans-national crime. As JCLEC is an international training institution, English is the daily working language.
The successful candidate will receive an attractive monthly salary including medical insurance based on qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated skills.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Under the direction of the coordinator, the Driver provides transportation support to JCLEC.
Key responsibilities are:
• Driving AFP, JCLEC staff, and others persons as directed,
• Checking the condition of JCLEC’s vehicles and submitting service/repair proposals as required,
• Maintaining the cleanliness of JCLEC vehicles,
• Other duties as required.

OTHERS
– Ability to drive motor vehicles with automatic and manual transmission,
– Good driving skills and confident, competent driver,
– Knowledge of basic car engine maintenance,
– Knowledge of traffic signs and regulations,
– Good knowledge of the Semarang and Central Java road networks,
– Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
– Senior High School Degree,
– Valid A (preferably B1) driver’s license,
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
– Ability to speak and understand English.
