Aidenvironment is an independent value-driven consultancy. Building sustainable agricultural value chains has been our core business for over 25 years. We advise, support and encourage our clients in realizing their ambitions towards sustainability in the most prominent commodity sectors. Known for our in-depth knowledge, reliable quality and good advisory skills, we are continuously asked to work on influential assignments by the front-runners in the private, public and non-profit sector. We have offices in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and in Bogor, Indonesia with a dedicated team of over 40 staff members and we work all over the southern hemisphere.
Our supply chain related research and advisory services focus on sustainable market transformation, sourcing and finance, voluntary standards and smallholder development. We increasingly work for major producer companies, traders and consumer goods manufacturers across the world. We are hired for our in-depth knowledge on people, planet and profit risks and opportunities in the production and trade in major commodity supply chains. Our Asia office currently employs over twenty staff and we are currently looking for a Senior consultant sustainable agricultural supply chains.
The senior consultant works in a team that acquires and implements projects that contribute to policies and actions that make commodity supply chains accountable and sustainable.
We are now looking for a senior consultant who will:
• Provide high quality strategic advisory services that strongly build upon our in-house knowledge
• Build and manage an international client portfolio in the corporate and non-profit sector
• Manage consultancy assignments and consultancy teams
• Contribute to project acquisition
What are we looking for in you?
We are looking for a spirited candidate with keen interest to be part of our team.
To qualify successfully as a candidate you have:
• A relevant academic background at MSc level or higher
• At least 6 – 10 years of working experience that is relevant for this position.
• A track record in sustainable sourcing, supply chain development and/or market transformation
• The ability to provide strategic advice on linkages with finance institutions, input providers, certification systems and development organizations etc.
• Working experience on commodities such as palm oil, cocoa, coffee, tea, rice and/or cotton is highly appreciated
• Experience in project acquisition
• Excellent working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia
