Job Description

Abt Associates—a mission-driven, global leader in research and program implementation in the fields of health, social and environmental policy, and international development—seeks highly qualified and experienced managerial and technical professionals for an upcoming USAID-funded Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health project focusing on health systems strengthening in Indonesia. Positions are contingent upon program funding.

Interested candidates should have experience working with public and/or private health sector actors in one or more of the following technical areas:

 Program Direction / Management
 Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH)
 Health Systems Strengthening (HSS)
 Health Information Systems (HIS)
 Health Sector Governance
 Program Monitoring & Evaluation
 Program Financial & Administrative Management

All candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in a related discipline; 8-10 years of relevant experience in technical or managerial leadership positions; an outstanding professional reputation; and strong interpersonal, written English, and oral presentation skills. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Indonesia or other Southeast Asian countries. Indonesian experts are strongly encouraged to apply.
