The Director of Digital Engagement will play a critical role creating a delightful experience for more than 100 million users around the world and helping to increase their impact on Change.org’s platform. This executive will draw on their deep leadership experience and domain expertise to increase engagement among key user segments across multiple channels. They will craft the marketing engagement strategy and and manage a high performance team to execute innovative programs that drive big results. This role reports to the Managing Director of Global Marketing and is a unique opportunity to shape one of the company’s top priorities.


Here’s what you’ll do as part of our team:
Develop multi-channel marketing engagement strategy and roadmap for the world’s leading social empowerment platform.

Lead a team of highly-skilled marketers to execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social, content marketing, and in-product marketing, among others.

Shape corporate strategy as a member of Change.org’s L-Team.

Develop a deep understanding of key user audiences and their engagement to identify opportunities that inform an insights-driven approach to strategy and tactics.

Manage a team to develop robust testing and learning agenda to optimize marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including product managers, engineers, campaigners and data scientists, to execute strategies and initiatives across the company.

Identify and create business cases for tools and resources needed to successfully execute engagement marketing strategy.

Report on performance to executive management and key stakeholders.

Develop global standards, processes and best practices for engagement marketing programs, ensuring campaigns are optimized and on-brand. And here are the skills & experience we hope you have:

10+ years digital marketing and product marketing experience.

Proven track record of managing and motivating talented teams to hit big goals.

Excellent mentoring and coaching skills.

Proven track record of success developing engagement strategies that move the needle across multiple channels.

Strong experience and expertise with engagement channels including email, social, content, in-product, among others.

Demonstrated ability uncovering actionable customer insights and developing insights-driven marketing programs.

Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset.

Successful track record collaborating and managing cross-functional teams to drive results.

Excellent executive presence, partnership and communication skills.
